SAFETY

To help ensure the health and safety of young athletes, CDC developed the HEADS UP Concussion in Youth Sports initiative to offer information about concussions to coaches, parents, and athletes involved in youth sports. The HEADS UP initiative provides important information on preventing, recognizing, and responding to a concussion.

VOLUNTEERS

The Winfield Youth Softball Organization (WYSO) operates under the Winfield Recreation Counsel (WRC) which in turn operates under the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks (CCRP). The below link contains our ByLaws.

WYSO ByLaws

Volunteer Form and Background Check:

All Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks volunteers who serve on a regular basis (more than one day) for their recreation council or the Department are required to complete a volunteer registration form and sign the volunteer waiver/release.

This is a 2-step process.

Step 1: Every volunteer must go to: Volunteer Form.
On that page there will be a form that must be filled out for 2022, whether you are due for renewal or not.

Step 2: IN THE VOLUNTEER FORM is another link to the online background check for renewals and new volunteers.  Here is that link simplified:
